  • First of all I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Many thanks!

I agree it does take time to switch gears and clear your head. A couple of tips that could be helpfully are the following:
      1) Schedule a regular time to write. This helps prepare you for the task and train your mind to be ready.
      2) Most people are more creative in the afternoon (i.e. 2 pm to 4 pm) based on circadian rhythms. So, planning your writing around this time can help ease the process.
      Hope this helps.
